Citing examples of how persons of


color can change the corporate supplier diversity landscape, he named a number of large corporations that are leaders in supplier diversity and deserve consumers’ loyalty, including Toyota, MBOD 2011’s title sponsor. He concluded his presentation saying,


”In this country, culture counts -- not co- lor. If you’re not culturally connected to customers, employees and communities, you’re leaving money on the table.”
