He enlisted in
the Air National Guard, where he earned the rank of staff sergeant. After 13 years in the military, he en-
rolled at ITT Tech- nical
Institute,
where he earned an associate’s degree in electronic engi- neering. He would subsequently go on to hold posi- tions at Technicol- or, Yazaki, General Motors

ground, and TRW. He was also a skilled electrician and worked in the residential
and
commercial fields as an independent contractor until his death.
He had a pas-
sion for music, and was a gifted pianist and keyboardist, and played for the Voices of Praise Choir at Rhema Church of

She was also an
active member of Perfecting Church.
She is survived
Detroit, and Lynn Hospital in Lincoln Park. She retired from the latter in the 1980s, after more than 20 years of service.
