system. After grad- uation, he worked for the Great Lakes Steel Corp. until he entered the Army. After two years in the service, he re- turned to Great Lake Steel, where he remained for 42 years until his re- tirement.
He loved to bowl,
and was on many bowling leagues. He also enjoyed traveling with his family. He was president of the River Rouge Senior Citizens Club #2, the Saturday Morn- ing Breakfast Club, and the Downriver Men’s Club.

member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, and later of Union Second
Baptist
