Srixon release 7th generation 2- piece AD333 golf ball

Available in stores from mid-September 2015, the new Srixon AD333 is the seventh generation of the UK’s best-selling 2-piece golf ball. The AD333 is targeted at golfers with club head speed of 80mph or greater who are looking for maximum distance and excellent feel. Featuring an Energetic Gradient Growth Core and a new, more equally sized 324 dimple design, the new AD333 promotes a longer distance by producing the least amount of drag. New generation SpinSkin technology generates more spin around the green, offering greater control for the majority of club golfers. This is a patented Srixon technology that is

utilised in the core of every single Srixon golf ball made. E.G.G. describes the varying stiffness of the Srixon core. This stiffness variation is employed to achieve benefits over a uniform-stiffness core. This soſt-to-firm stiffness configuration allows the golf ball to produce high ball speed and low driver spin. Designed to improve greenside spin without sacrificing distance and tee to green control,

the proprietary SpinSkin coating combined with a new urethane cover improves friction between the golf ball and club surface by 20%, resulting in unmatched greenside performance. Next generation Speed Dimple technology combines uniformity of dimple design with

higher surface coverage, creating more distance and wind resistance. The Aero Power Dimple design delivers a penetrating trajectory with higher liſt force, resulting in incredible carry and distance and superior stability.

SkyCaddie Touch receives major update

SkyCaddie’s top-of-the-range GPS device, the Touch, has received a range of software

updates which make golf’s most advanced rangefinder even more powerful. And all owners have to do is synchronise their devices online, to receive the latest

SkyCaddie Touch updates for free. Several of the updates enhance SkyCaddie’s exclusive golf course maps, which are

produced by trained mappers using professional surveying equipment on foot during repeated visits to the club. The chief headline-grabber is the addition of IntelliGreen Pro, an enhanced version of SkyCaddie’s exclusive IntelliGreen service which displays exact, up-to-date close-up maps of every green on the golf course. IntelliGreen Pro displays distances to key contours on each green, helping golfers to target a specific area even more accurately. If the pin is on an upper shelf at the back of the green, for example, SkyCaddie Touch owners will now know where the slope begins, and can club accordingly. The IntelliGreen display has also been enlarged by 20% in the update, making it even easier for you to plan your shot to the pin.
