DAVID VAN BOMEL Newark, Del.
If the cities that already have a men’s pro team also had a women’s team, they could have back-to-back games and increase attendance. Have a MLL-WMLL night. (“Pro Form,” September 2014)

Really great to see archaic sexist traditions bite the dust, and great to see the women’s game experience such explosive growth. (“Rise of the Haudenosaunee,” August 2014)
HEIDI ERNSBERGER JOHNSON McKinney, Texas
I love seeing these women, and all women of every nationality, play and honor this game.
DALLAS BROWN Phoenix, Ariz.
SHOOTING WOES Loved Bill Tanton’s article
(“It’s the Canadian Way,” September 2014), and I loved watching “Hollywood” (Tom Marechek) play back in the day. The highest-percentage shot in lacrosse is the overhand bounce shot, and it always will be. But everybody wants to be on ESPN “SportsCenter” Top 10 tomorrow. So they trade accuracy for speed.
The Americans read too much of their own press clippings and are not aware of how many of their sidearm, three-quarter deliveries, backhands and underhands (the old Larry Becker sizzler) go awry. As Tommy said, “It’s a team game.” That afternoon, the smarter team won.
DICK BERKOW Boynton Beach, Fla.
Wow! Big move for Michigan (“Michigan Approves Lacrosse-Only Stadium,”
LaxMagazine.com Sept. 19/page 16). They are really going all in on lacrosse! Good for them!
CHRIS ALLEN
I would really like to see some attention paid to the vast majority of kids who play the game but who won’t get scholarships!
