PI work? Yes, I still maintain my view about being regional, national, niche
and excellent. Firms with poor client care will end up out of business on the end of professional negligence claims. Recent case law has been quite strong in suggesting a solicitor who, for example, never sees or speaks to his client runs the risk of being held to account for operating an inadequate professional service.
Finally, what would like to see our regulators and the
Government do this year? Leave us alone! Stop listening to the insurance lobby, and tackle their failings and poor performance. Not that that will ever happen, but we can live in hope. ●
