A
year on after the full implementation of the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders (LASPO) Act, key decision makers and influencers will once again gather at Lancashire County Cricket Club in Manchester on 13
March for the Claims Magazine Conference. Chaired by Craig Budsworth, the chairman of the Motor Accident Solicitors Society
(MASS), the conference will be entitled 'The Art of Reinvention' and will explore how the claims industry has had to – and continues to – adapt to the Jackson reforms. Claims Magazine’s annual conference aims to supply you with the facts necessary to
make informed decisions – whether your involvement in the claims sector is that of a lawyer, claims management company, law firm business development manager, accident management specialist, medical professional or other related field. This year's conference will look at how law firms can better understand their clients;
how the Judiciary has dealt with Jackson to date; the changing face of medical reporting; and how to survive and prosper in the new legal environment. A number of top speakers have already been confirmed for the event, including Rob
Cummings from the ABI, Donald Fowler from Premex, former MASS Chair Donna Scully, Chris Shaw, Commercial Director at Quindell Business Process Services and former FOIL President Don Clarke. The conference will be followed by a gala dinner at Thai restaurant Chaophraya and
after dinner entertainment. CAPITA will be the headline sponsor for the event, which is also being supported by
First4lawyers, Frenkels Forensics Chartered Accountants, JP Morriss Assessors, Keystone Legal, MRB Consulting Ltd, Premex, Laird Assessors, Eclipse, Ontime Group and Reach Personal Injury. Delegates can claim 5 hours and 35 minutes of CPD accredited hours. In order to benefit from an early bird ticket price of £235 + VAT per person, which
expires on 31 January 2014, then please call Paul Bunce on 01423 851 150 or email him at
