Bedbank relaunches with luxury focus and targets indie agents

Bedbank.com has put a new luxury-focused range of hotels back on sale via Multicom and Traveltek following a technology upgrade. The Vertical Group-owned supplier has rebranded to focus on luxury accommodation and transfers through sister firm
Transfers4Travel.com. It is now looking to work with
more independent agents having previously been, in effect, the inhouse bed bank for Freedom Travel Group. Improved connections with Multicom’s FindandBook and Traveltek’s iSell systems were due to go live this week.

Marriott opens tallest hotel in New York City Marriott has opened the tallest hotel-only property in North America. The 68-storey building combines a 378-room Courtyard by Marriot hotel and a 261-suite Residence Inn hotel. The $320m hotel is in Midtown Manhattan.
