District Meetings

Districts 7, 8 and 9 Will Meet Last Week of February

Kay Electric members in Districts 7,8 and 9 will soon be receiving the official notice and invitation to attend the District Meeting in their area. KEC holds district meetings every year in three of the nine districts (on a rotating basis) so members can select two persons as candidates for a trustee. A trustee represents members located within each district on KEC’s Board, much in the same way a congressman represents his voting district. These two candidates’ names will be on the ballot at the KEC Annual Meeting on Friday, April 5, 2013. District meetings are for discussion of any matter pertaining to

the business of your cooperative. If you live in District 7, 8 or 9 make plans to attend your district

meeting. You’ll not only get a chance to have a say in your cooperative, but also you and your family can enjoy a free buffet- style meal and an opportunity to win prizes. See you in a couple of weeks!

(YOU MAY BE IN A NEW DISTRICT DUE TO THE

REALIGNMENT OF DISTRICTS. YOU WILL BE RECEIVING A NOTIFICATION IN THE MAIL WITHIN A WEEK OR TWO.)
