coverage across fourteen of the BBC’s flagship titles. Readers will be invited to vote for their favourite CDs of the year, with one reader winning a Centennial. The promotion will coincide with the BBC Music Awards voting campaign which will run for three months, starting this month. It represents the first phase in

Kemble’s plan to “reach new audiences in new ways,” a plan introduced at its Dealer Forum in November. The firm says it is working on a range of further activities to build on the BBC campaign.

Kemble pianos will be featured in the following titles during the voting period: BBC Gardeners’ World, BBC History, BBC Countryf ile, BBC Focus, BBC Wildlife, BBC Sky at Night, Who Do You Think You Are magazine, Gardens Illustrated, Lonely Planet, Olive, Top Gear, Easy Cook, and, of course, BBC Music Magazine. The magazines

have a combined reach of approximately four million readers each month. Leanne Barrell, marketing

manager for Kemble Pianos commented: “We are very excited about this huge promotion. The BBC reader demographic exactly matches Kemble customer profiles and values and the sheer size of the readership of such a wide range of lifestyle titles will take the Kemble brand to a massive audience of music lovers, many of whom would like to own a piano. “To achieve this level of coverage

over three months through straight advertising would have been well beyond our means, and the creative editorial style of the promotion provides an eye-catching edge. We are very confident that this campaign will take awareness of Kemble Pianos to a new level and inspire new people to consider investing in a Kemble”.

The Kemble brand will also be

high-profile at the BBC Music Awards Ceremony, which will be held in March.
