tion Hall at the Alliant Energy Center the “Best of 2011” for convention and meeting venues. The Alliant Energy Center is lo-


cated just minutes from downtown Madison, WI and sits upon 164 acres. The property features a multi-build- ing complex featuring Veterans Me- morial Coliseum, Exhibition Hall, Willow Island and the Arena. As a leading convention cen-


ter in the state, the Exhibition Hall hosts more than 600 events annually. The Hall is a 255,000 sq. ft. space that is connected to 14 rooms with 20,000 sq. ft. of meeting and conference space. Connected by a climate controlled walkway to the Exhibition Hall is the Clarion Suites Central Hotel, which features 140 guestsuites. “It is our avocation as a major convention venue to listen, learn and share the best of what we know to create and sup- port a successful customer event,” stated Ted Ballweg, assistant center manager of sales and marketing. Alliant Energy Center also features the Veterans Memorial Coliseum, a multi-purpose facility; Arena with 22,000 sq. ft. of space; and Willow Island, a 29-acre natural green area.
