Owlett-Jaton trading portal proves a hit

Customers of OJ Trade (www.ojtrade.co.uk),

the online trading portal for UK fasteners and fixings experts Owlett-Jaton, have given a ringing endorsement to the site’s functionality and ease of use.

S

ince its launch in early 2008, the site has proved to be such a hit, that it received an extensive makeover last year to increase functionality and enhance customer experience. Over recent years the site has proved a major facility for

merchants wanting to source products from Owlett-Jaton and sister companies Owlett-Architectural and JCP Fixings. OJ Trade is exclusively available to Owlett-Jaton account

holders and allows users to access information on stock availability and price for more than 26,000 products. Orders can be placed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and the ‘real time’ functionality of the site means product enquiries and selling prices can be calculated instantly. Other features include the ability to store and review enquiries for future reference, access to order, invoice, and credit details that can be viewed online or printed off, and a ‘purchase manager’ facility to store details of regularly purchased products. Customers appreciating the benefits of using OJ Trade include Robert Mahon at Nutters Fastenings Ltd. He says: “I love the

website because it is simple to use and gives me the flexibility of ordering I need, especially out of hours. It is also a good tool to have at hand for quoting as it is a quicker and more accurate way of getting an up to date price quickly.” Graham Smith from Belmey Industrial Supplies Ltd, adds:

“We can check stock availability if we either have a customer on the telephone or at our trade counter enquiring about an item, saving time in having to call them back or contact a sales office to place an order”, while Hazel Flynn of Plant & Fixings Ltd says: “It was the best thing that any of our suppliers have ever done and it’s a pleasure to order goods hassle free!” Martin Rundle, online trading manager at Owlett-Jaton,

explains: “OJ Trade has been designed with our customers in mind, so their online experience is the best it can be. Since the site was launched, it has proved to be extremely popular, and we invite customers to register and experience for themselves the features and benefits that OJ trade can offer.” To register on OJ Trade, visit www.ojtrade.co.uk
