CLINTON FOY is the General Counsel, VP of Legal & Business Affairs, and Corporate Secretary for Square Enix, Inc., Square Pictures, and Square Enix America Holdings, Inc. Clinton oversees all Square Enix legal and business operations in North America and South America. Clinton has a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame, an M.A. from Stanford University, and a


J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law. Clinton is a board member of the Asian Pacific Community Fund (APCF), the former president of the Asian Bar Association of Washington, and is a strong supporter of pro bono legal services and diversity.


EUGENE LEE


EUGENE LEE is the Voting Rights Project Director at the Asian Pacific American Legal Center (APALC) in Los Angeles and a member of Asian American Center for Advancing Justice. Eugene directs APALC’s work on voter protec- tion, Voting Rights Act compliance, and ballot access policy. He chairs several community advisory bodies of county election offices in Southern California


and served on the California Secretary of State’s Help America Vote Act State Plan Advisory Committee. Eugene is a graduate of Duke University and Columbia Law School. Immediately after law school, he practiced with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP in New York.


PAUL S. GREWAL


MAGISTRATE JUDGE PAUL S. GREWAL was appointed in 2010 to the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. He received his B.S. from MIT and his law degree from the University of Chicago, and previously served as a federal law clerk to the Honorable Sam H. Bell and the Honorable Arthur J. Gajarsa. Judge Grewal was also a former partner at


Howrey LLP, where his practice focused on intellectual property litigation, particularly patent trials and appeals. He is a former President of the South Asian Bar of Northern California and the North American South Asian Bar Association.

Actively engaged in civil society, Emi has been appointed to San Francisco’s


Immigrant Rights Commission and Ethics Commission. Emi is an adjunct professor at UC Hastings, currently co-teaching “APAs & the Law”. She serves on a number of nonprofit boards, was elected to the Board of the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area in 2006, and is now its Treasurer.


DEBORAH HONG


DEBORAH HONG is a partner at Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young, LLP in Philadelphia, where she specializes in structured finance, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate counseling. Deborah serves as a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s Task Force on Tri-Party Repo Infrastructure. Deborah is a dedicated member of her community,


and currently serves as President of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Pennsylvania, as a Commissioner for the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Commission on Judicial Selection and Retention, and as a member of the Board of Trustees for The Center for Literacy.

ALBERT J. Albert was formerly a Senior Counsel at Abbott Laboratories and a corporate law partner at DLA Piper. He has held lead- ership positions with the Dallas Bar


Association, Dallas Asian American Bar Association, NALP Diversity Summit Planning Committee, Asian Pacific Interest Section of the State Bar of Texas, and Austin Asian American Bar Association. In 2009, Albert was honored with the Justice David Wellington Chew Award for his service in Texas.
