RYA Courses in the Strait of Bonifacio between Sardinia and Corsica: a wild paradise for some, a Mediterranean surprise for others, an Eden for sailors. The area is one of the windiest in Europe, the water reaches 26 degrees and the sun shines 300 days per year. Sail between golden beaches and picturesque ports.


Sailing West is based in Dun Laoghaire from where we run all the RYA and ISA cruising courses from Start Yachting through to Yachtmaster Ocean. We also offer clients the opportunity to be part of a race crew and sail at some of Ireland and Britain’s top regattas. Ultimately we strive to get more people out on the water!


Bow Waves, Galway Sailing and Powerboat School is the leading marine training centre in the west of Ireland, based in Galway a warm and vibrant city. We are ISA/RYA recognised. Courses include powerboating, dinghy/keelboat sailing, yachtmaster and comprehensive shore based courses, including commercial STCW 95 courses. We run instructor courses for all disciplines. Volvo Ocean race 2011-2012 finish port.


Based in Ionian in Greece, an idyllic sailing area with warm weather and fair winds virtually guaranteed. We offer a comprehensive range of practical courses including competent Crew, Day Skipper, plus Coastal Skipper & Yacht Master preparation and mile builder voyages. Our courses run weekly starting every Sunday between March and November. We can organise flights from the UK through our associated travel company Seafarer.
