DISCHARGE BYPASS VALVES for system capacity control
Provides an economical method of compres- sor capacity control by automatically bypass- ing the required amount of discharge gas to
the low side to maintain minimum evaporator pressure. Well suited for systems operating during periods of low load in order to pre- vent coil icing or short cycling. Valves respond to suction pressure changes and open when evaporator pressure falls below the adjust- ment setting. Valve remains closed at normal load and evaporator conditions to permit conventional system operation. Standard 1/4” SAE external equalizer.

HEAD PRESSURE CONTROL VALVES
These valves perform the same functions as “OROA” valves listed previously. The difference is these valves are designed to operate at a pressure drop between compressor & condenser of 15-19 psig.
These pressure controls eliminate problems of low head pressure often caused by a unit operating below its design ambient temperature. Maintains proper
CRANKCASE PRESSURE REGULATING VALVES
Protects the compressor from overloading by limit- ing the crankcase pressure during and after a defrost cycle or normal shutdown. Will automatically throt- tle vapor flow from the evaporator until the compres-
sor can handle the load. All models respond to their outlet pressure to prevent the suction pressure at the compressor from rising above the valve setting. Installs in suction line between evaporator and compressor. Supplied with access valve on inlet connection.

EVAPORATOR PRESSURE REGULATING VALVES
Designed to accomplish peak performance, these valves will automatically throttle vapor flow from the evaporator in order to maintain the desired mini- mum evaporator pressure.
Type OROA
HEAD PRESSURE CONTROL VALVES
A non-adjustable valve which limits the flow of liquid refrigerant from the condenser while regulating the flow of hot gas around the condenser to the receiver. Serves to maintain relatively constant receiver pressure. This valve is the most economical means of control for systems up to 16 tons R-12, 21 tons R-22 and 13 tons R-502. Installs in the liquid line between the condenser and the receiver.

Provides an efficient means of balancing system capacity, regard- less of operating conditions. Installs in the suction line between evaporator and compressor to prevent evaporator pressure from changing as the load changes. Valves are furnished with access valve pressure tap on the inlet connection.
