My Outriggers

Outriggers are much more than poles with ski tips on the end. My newest Superlite Outriggers are made of titanium, custom-ordered to desired length. I prefer the down-angled ergonomic grip and the oblong-shaped ski tip with built-in rocker. In addition to having the vibration, fl H[LELOLW\ DQG VWUHQJWK RI WLWDQLXP DQ LPSUHVVLYH UDQJH RI motion within the pivot point of the ski tip allows for greater DQJXODWLRQ ZLWKRXW FRPSURPLVLQJ DUP SRVLWLRQ 7KH\ YH lasted longer than any other adjustable model to date.

You will often see me working with the double fall lines, bumps, and wide- open spaces of Flume to Lower Flume as I can get all the types of terrain features and conditions in one of the iconic trails of the East. These are a wood core ski sandwiched between two sheets of metal that provide power yet allow me to go from carve to slarve to pivot and steer at a moment’s notice. When I want to go out for early morning runs and get everything out of that freshly groomed carpet midweek, there is no better choice than the Doberman GSR Plate. This ski is amazing for a frontside ripper, but without the VLGHFXW UHVWUDLQWV RI D )Ζ6 OHJDO UDFH VNL Ζ FDQ JR IURP D clinic in the morning to jumping into a few “Loonatics” Beer League racing gates on Rum Runner to Coolidge. This is a ski highly overlooked but for those of us who know the power and hook up of a ski rooted in racing, there is nothing like it. This is the ski that will set your tracks apart from the others while riding up the chairlift; a true way to leave your signature behind!
