Only two players, Michelle Tumolo and Laura Zimmerman, had a consensus on which artist they would like to hear after they scored a goal – Beyonce.

“We all know why,” Tumolo said.

“Because she’s Queen B,” Zimmerman said.

CLUELESS You would have never guessed these Team USA stars once had no clue what to do with a lacrosse stick.

ALEX AUST

“I was a basketball player with a stick. I remember just getting so frustrated that I couldn’t catch or throw, so I made my sister partner pass with me every day in our backyard. It would always end in one of us running inside crying from hitting each other by trying behind-the-back or stick tricks.”

ALLY CAREY

“I had no idea of course what to do, but I quickly realized that if I can just get the ball in my stick, no one could take it from me, which was way different than my soccer experience.”

TAYLOR CUMMINGS

“I was awful. Couldn’t catch or throw, but had the best time with my friends so I kept playing.”

We polled the U.S. World Cup team on a variety of topics. Here’s what we learned.
