1) Skate America champion Ashley Wagner is interviewed at the ICE Desk by icenetwork’s John Coughlin and Charlie White. The ICE Desk team, set up on the concourse of Sears Centre Arena, provided backstage coverage of the event. The team included Coughlin, White, hostess Tanith White, Mi- chael Weiss and Molly Oberstar, a new addition to the ICE Desk team who served as a fashion and choreography expert.

2) Wagner waves to the crowd as she’s interviewed by in-arena host Rusty Kath.

3) A huge chalk wall on the concourse offered fans the opportunity to display their artistic talent while offering words of encouragement to their favorite skaters.

4) More than 220 Chicagoland Learn to Skate USA members laced up their skates and participated in the Smucker’s Skating Spectacular on the final night of the competition.

5) Maia Shibutani and Alex Shibutani take a photograph of their fans during an autograph session. The Shibutanis, World silver medalists in ice dance, won Skate America for the first time.

7) A group of skaters from the University of Wisconsin-Madison were upgrad- ed to the Smucker’s Suite for the Smucker’s Skating Spectacular. They were given Smucker’s strawberries to toss onto the ice following performances.

8) The Pack Drumline & Dance Crew, a youth leadership program in Boling- brook, Illinois, that helps advance the skills of percussion and dance for all students, performed prior to the event. The Pack Drumline will be seen next at the annual McDonald’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

9) Mariah Bell, new coach Rafael Arutunian and choreographer Rohene Ward celebrate the skater’s winning free skate scores in the kiss and cry.

10) U.S. pairs champions Tarah Kayne and Danny O’Shea visit with Friends of Figure Skating members at the FOFS breakfast.

11) U.S. men’s champion Adam Rippon signs a skate for a fan during an auto- graph session. Long lines of fans waited happily for the chance to meet their favorite skaters.
