Anne C. Couyoumjian (JD ’07) was elected as partner of Hinshaw & Cul- bertson LLP. Her practice focuses on tort defense litigation, including cases involving products liability, toxic tort, chemical exposure, transportation, fire litigation, and construction defect.


The Hon. Elgie Sim (JD ’07) joined Foley & Lardner LLP while serving his second full term as state representative of the 34th District of Illinois. He will practice in the areas of government and public policy and public finance.

Amy French (MA ’09) received a PhD in educational administration with a specialization in higher education lead- ership from Indiana State University and is an assistant professor of educa- tional leadership at Indiana State.


2010s


Marie M. Baird (BS ’11) earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine of Midwestern University. She will complete a family medicine residency at Franciscan St. James Health in Olympia Fields, Illinois.


Sarah Cleary (MEd ’11) graduated with a PhD in counseling psychology from the University of Denver. She is completing a postdoctoral fellowship in child & family psychology through Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.


Owen McKenna (BS ’11) earned a PhD in environmental life sciences from Arizona State University. He has also been awarded a Mendenhall Postdoctoral Fellowship with the U.S. Geological Survey to work as research ecologist at the Northern Prairie Wild- life Research Center.


Pearl Paramadilok (BBA ’11) is play- ing the title role of Heidi Holland in The Cuckoo's Theater Project show, The Heidi Chronicles, in Chicago.


Noah J. Moss (JD ’12) published his book Roaring Twenties: A Portrait of New York City During the 1920's, a mostly

nonfiction account of a transformative period in New York City's history.


Marie K. Lynch (JD ’12) has joined Swanson, Martin & Bell LLP. She was previously an associate with LaBarge, Campbell & Lyon LLC. Her practice specializes in medical negligence and health care and general trial practice.


Alyssa Pronley (BA ’12) and Devon Holstad (BA ’11) were married on November 14, 2015, in Chicago. For- mer Ramblers in attendance included groomsmen David Weber (BA ’12) and Matthew McDonald (BA ’11) and bridesmaid Sara Villecco (BA ’13).


Eric H. Beck, MD (MPH ’14) was selected from among more than 100 nominees for the Up and Comers 2016 list by Modern Healthcare. Beck is president and CEO of Evolution Health and a physician in the University of Chicago Mitchell Adult and Comer Pediatric Emergency departments.


Anna Dauzvardis (BA ’14) received the Jeff Award for her performance in the one-woman show Liberty City.


Matt Lamb (BA ’14) has been pro- moted to Heartland Regional Field Director for Turning Point USA, a free market, free speech, and pro-Second Amendment student group from Il- linois. He oversees a nine-state region, including a Loyola chapter.


Amanda Walsh (MSW ’14, JD ’15) is an Equal Justice Works Fellow and recipient of the Chicago Bar Founda- tion’s 2016 Kimball R. Anderson and Karen Gatsis Anderson Public Interest Law Fellowship Award.


Alexander Dumitriu-Morentz (JD ’15, MBA ’15) joined the firm of Howard & Howard Attorneys PLLC. His practice focuses on business and cor- porate law with an emphasis on merg- ers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital, and securities work.


Ghirlandi Guidetti (JD ’15, MPP ’15) has been named the 2016-17 Tom Steel Fellow by the Pride Law Fund. Guidetti will be working at the ACLU of Illinois as an advocate for the rights of LGBT youth.
