Open lab areas: Researchers will be working in open labs that make informal interaction more common in the course of their workday. These kinds of discussions build collaboration that can improve research—and ultimately lead to more effective health care outside the lab.

Two-story atriums: Both the second and fourth floor have two-story open atriums that extend to the floor above. The spaces are designed to promote interaction and collaboration between researchers who may not typically cross paths while also providing room for studying, impromptu meetings, and lunch breaks.

90-seat classroom provides ample room for collaborative learning, large lectures and seminars, and guest speakers.
