Favorite part of the job: I get to plan and staff fun events and engage with others who love LUC as much as I do!


Fun fact: Without any discussion or pressure, half of the grandchildren on my father’s side ended up at Jesuit schools. AMDG!


MARY HOUSTON (BS ’07, MEd ’13) Associate Director


Role: Current and prospective students— aka future alumni!


Hometown: Sandwich, Illinois


Alma Mater: Loyola University Chicago


Favorite part of the job: Working with current students to help them en- gage with our office and connect with the many Loyola alumni who want to help them during their Loyola Experience.


Fun fact: I am a double alumna of the University, but also a legacy. Both my parents and my sister went to Loyola for their undergraduate degrees.


NICHOLAS RAMIREZ (BASC ’14) Project Coordinator


Role: Budget manager, office operations, Loyola on the Road events, Alumni Weekend, and other large alumni events

Favorite part of the job: I love working at an institu- tion that is at the forefront of bringing about positive social change. Loyola not only strives to improve the lives of its students, employ- ees, and alumni but it is also working on improving our greater Chicago community and the world.


Fun fact: I am a graduate of the Cristo Rey High School Sacramento and was a Cristo Rey Scholar while at Loyola. Viva Cristo Rey!


OLIVIA SIEVERT Assistant Director


Role: Young alumni and af- finity groups (current/pro- spective students support)


Hometown: Chicago


Alma Mater: St. Norbert College, De Pere, Wisconsin


Favorite part of the job: I love that my role has a strong focus on connect- ing alumni with current and prospective students. It is a really fun way for me to learn more about the Loyola student experience, as well as help make these connections that have been highly requested.


Fun fact: I grew up in Andersonville (where my parents still live), not too far from Rogers Park. People are always amazed that when I say I grew up in the city, I actually mean the city!


ANNE WICKER (BS ’83) Office Assistant


Role: Supporting the Alumni Relations team and the chancellor


Hometown: Texarkana, Texas


Alma Mater: Loyola University Chicago


Favorite part of the job: Working on a great team in a beautiful office on a spectacular campus and getting to know alumni from across the generations.


Fun fact: I have a journalism background and was a reporter.


Stephen Dynako (MA ’13) released his new book, The Self Aware Lover, in September 2015. The book guides readers on a quest toward putting love first to ensure that all of one's pursuits are life-affirming, inspiring each per- son to become part of something greater than themselves.


Christopher D. Williams (JD ’13) joined the Chicago law firm Lavelle Law, Ltd. He has exten- sive experience in securities law


and expects to work closely with corporate clients who undergo regulatory review.


Matthew W. Horton (LLM ’14) joined the law firm Ober|Kaler as an associate. He represents provid- ers and organizations in a broad range of health law matters.


Megan Prouty (BSN ’15) joined the Jesuit Volunteer Corps with Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in the Twin Cities. L
