GREEN SAND MOLDING 201

The second course in green sand molding provides participants with the next level of knowledge related to green sand molding processes. This course will introduce applications requiring specialty sands; cover types of sand additives and their effects on green sand; and address green sand quality control tests, reviewing the types, purpose, frequency, and typical result ranges with an introduction to statistical process control for sand systems.
MANAGING THE FOUNDRY INDOOR AIR ENVIRONMENT
This manual expands on the need to integrate ventilation design in the foundry, which concurrently considers air supply and exhaust methods This integrated approach consists of a “bubble approach” to the in-plant environment and plant emissions.
