An outstanding career opportunity for a highly motivated individual to actively lead the technical sales efforts for foundry products within specified territories. Associate will be involved in establishing and promoting value pricing and technical benefits, promoting Badger in all relevant industry, academic and technical associations, conducting solo and joint sales calls, develop and implement marketing programs and sales presentations and collaborating with R&D on product development and other innovations. Bachelor of Science in Physical Chemistry or equivalent technical field of study. Strong level of expertise in foundry sand applications and knowledge in metal casting technologies required.

Foundry OEM Sales Representative Star Pipe Products is currently seeking a Foundry OEM Sales Representative for our Houston, Texas location. As part of our sales team the job responsibilities will include: generates revenue by soliciting and obtaining new customers; understanding and interpreting technical requirements; providing technical in- formation and developing accounts. OEM sales individual will provide technical information and


explanations; preparing quotations, suggesting related and new items; explaining technical features. Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements. Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests. Prepares cost estimates by studying blueprints, plans, and related customer docu- ments; consulting with engineers, architects, and technical personnel. Analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applica- tions in customer environment; engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services. Maintains profes- sional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.

This position will make direct sales calls on current and potential customers, assess their business needs and deliver custom- ized AFS solutions to enhance business performance. This positon will become a relied upon resource for both AFS staff and metalcasters, as an important pair of eyes and ears out in the industry.
