Metallurgist
Looking for a degreed metallurgist with industry experience in Ductile Iron, Green Sand operations. This is a hands on position working with dedicated employees to improve overall QMS effectiveness and assure customer requirements are being met.
Responsible include: • Oversee daily melt operations & lab personnel • Provide gating and riser layouts • Manage casting quality and reduce defects • Assist with meeting production goals • Work with customers on new product development
Required Qualifications: • Fluent in English • Masters in Metallurgical • Foundry experience • Ability to work in team environment in a positive and effective manner • Strong knowledge of green sand processes (hartley, horizontal molding, coremaking, sand quality) • Ductile iron knowledge • ISO 9001 competent • Solidification Modeling experience preferred
