the vice president of operations for Westlectric Casting Inc., Los Angeles. Otto J. Rusch died April 13, 2015. He was 84. After spending nearly 20 years with Waupaca Foundry, Wau- paca, Wis., Rusch opened Washburn Iron Works, Washburn, Wis., in 1976. He retired in 2002, while the iron casting facility remains family owned and operated. Rusch was a long-time member and past chairman of the American Foundry Society’s North- eastern Wisconsin Chapter.


Brajenda Mishra as the associate director of the university’s Metal Processing Institute and the Kenneth G. Merriam Professor of Mechani- cal Engineering. Mishra will join the faculty in August.
