T e holiday season just wrapped up and hopefully your presents were received in time. Assuming they were, you have castings to thank. To move the gifts quickly over


long distances, maybe they had to be flown. And airplanes are filled with cast components, from wheels to seatbelts to engines. Or, perhaps the presents simply needed to be driven in cars or trucks, which have cast pistons, engine blocks, wheels, brakes and many other cast parts. So if you got what you wanted


over the holidays, a casting is responsible. 


Engine blocks are cast and found in many vehicles.
