Baoding Well Foundry Machinery Com-
pany LTD, known as WELL in the USA, was founded in 1955. WELL provides turnkey projects for new, reconstructed, or expanding foundries. WELL has 1,500 employees and total assets of 1 billion RMB. It is comprised of eight workshops and has an onsite certi- fied and accredited research and design center. It is a comprehensive institute for integrating product and foundry design. WELL’s engineering and design center has 103 technical staff members, among which, 45 are senior engineers and 40 are engineers. Specialties including machine design, electri- cal control, foundry technology, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, and advanced software design.

In 2014, WELL completed 23 design proj- ects, 46 self-setting sand foundry production lines, 11 automatic high pressure multi-piston horizontal lines, 107 vertical molding lines, 31 sand preparation plants and 26 pouring lines. WELL also sold 11 single machines
including part picking manipulators, core- setting manipulators, grinding robots and transfer robots. All the products combined have the largest share in Chinese market. Well’s exports have been increasing steadily in recent years and our molding lines have been gaining Germany and USA market since 2012.
