RIVERBOATS – ms Emerald, which will cruise France’s Rhône and Saône rivers, and ms Sapphire, cruising along the Seine – boast a brand-new deck plan optimized to offer the utmost in spaciousness. With 70% of their cabins measuring 225 square feet or larger, these two newly refurbished members of Tauck’s Destination Fleet will accommodate no more than 98 guests – while other similar-sized riverboats average about 160. Guest amenities inside their 14 lush 300-square-foot Tauck Suites include brocade upholstery, roomy walk-in closets with built-in drawers, spacious marble baths, and two French balconies with sliding floor-to-ceiling windows that open to idyllic riverscapes. Each redesigned riverboat also sports a total of twenty roomy 225-square-foot cabins.
