Offering fast cutting speeds, low running costs and the ability to cut copper, brass and titanium, the LCG-3015AJ series benefits from the addition of the new automated tower by providing constant ‘lights out’ processing. The ASF-EU was developed to
address the common concern that the higher cutting speeds and productivity of fibre lasers can be lost in the slow cycle times of available automation systems. The ASF-EU was designed to give the fastest sheet changeover times possible. The automated tower offers seven
raw material shelves and three finished product shelves, each capable of supporting a maximum load of 3,000kg. Raw material or finished parts can be loaded or unloaded without interrupting the cutting operation, ensuring maximum system uptime.

LASER COMPONENTS has introduced a thulium fibre laser from Keopsys. The CTFL fibre laser has an M²<1.1, a 1nm line width, and is available with wavelengths between 1,900nm and 2,050nm and an output power of 30W. The output is also randomly or linearly polarised, with a modulation option. As the laser is air-cooled, no
maintenance is needed. The laser is available in a benchtop, or in an OEM module that is easy to integrate. The high performance laser is an ideal
manufacturer Kimmon Koha. It has a very high polarisation ratio of 200:1 and rated power output of 20W.

ROFIN offers fibre lasers in a wide power range for marking, cutting, welding, drilling and surface treatment applications. In 2015, the laser specialist launched the third generation of its high-power fibre laser series (FL series), generating 2kW of laser power from one laser unit.
