In this year, it will take place for the fi fth time from 31 May to 2 June in Stuttgart (Germany).
”To date, it has been the world‘s only trade fair specialising in laser applications for material processing, covering all industries and all materials,“ said Gunnar Mey, Department Director Industry of Messe Stuttgart.
Also in the 2016 edition, from 31 May to 2 June, LASYS will be the trendsetting meeting point for the sector. From the strong, globally active market leader to the innovative newcomer, more than 200 exhibitors will demonstrate the endless possibilities of lasers in material processing at the Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre. Laser manufacturing systems – including the laser-specifi c machine subsystems, com- ponents, processes and services, will be the main focus.
”With 81 per cent of visitors coming from industry, it is clearly evident that LASYS is the quintessential interna- tional trade fair for laser users,“ emphasised Mey. He explains: “Visitors will have the opportunity to discuss their daily problems in detail with experienced experts in an optimum atmosphere, and to fi nd new ideas and solutions.”
