that my casual whines of often feeling “burnt- out” or “stressed-out” can catch up and become full-blown Chronic Fatigue. Watch out and take heed: It can happen to the best of us. This month, especially with all the political uproar, the Love and Evolution article by Peter

Carlson (p.16) offers great advice to practice Loving Kindness every day. October is also the perfect time to feature our Bodywork Guide. Throughout the years, I’ve made massage, acupuncture and chiropractic a part of my routine. Without some sort of body/mind work, I would never have made it through 16 years of publishing! Hypnosis, nutritional counseling and meditation have also

played a big part in my overall well-being. Where would I be without these natural therapies? Luckily, I discovered the healing powers of pure essential oils years ago. (Don’t be fooled by lesser, diluted brands which include synthetics.) After just one sniff of Peppermint or Lemon, I’m completely refreshed. Since last night after watching the 9/26/16 Presidential debate,

the word “STAMINA” is on my mind. I wonder how Clinton and Trump keep up with their fast-paced and demanding lifestyles. Caffeine? IV Nutritional Therapy? Who knows? Just listening to all the media commentary is exhausting. Thank goodness I have some essential oils on hand to inhale. Young Living Essential Oils™ makes some oil blends that I cannot live without this season: Peace & Calming and Stress Away. This is how I keep My Stamina: Eat wild, un-processed, seasonal foods; meditate and get enough sleep; incorporate some type of bodywork; and turn off the negative news. Additionally important: Get off the computer and iphone. Need a screen-fast? Check out our Calendar (pp 35-42). The Central Florida Veg Fest is 10/22 and check out the Ayurveda & Yoga weekend course (10/22-23). You will fi nd many great events open to all! As I proofread the Bodywork Glossary section (pp18-24), I’m especially eager to try ones that are new to me. I hope you (stressed- out or not) gain insight with this edition. Make a plan to try at least one new form of treatment for a healthier lifestyle. As Barry Cooper, LMT reminded me: Massage is not a luxury...it’s a necessity!

Healthy wishes to you all, Margaret Jones Bertone, Publisher Never Glossy. Always Green.

long time ago, someone told me “Busy people don’t get sick.” And I believed this myth most of my life. I’ve learned
