s many of you already know, proper blood fl ow is vital to
life. The body’s circulatory system ensures the survival of the organism by facilitating metabolism in each and every cell. When poor circulation occurs, there is the improper supply of nutrients and oxygen—and disease can set in. Obesity rates have increased for all population groups in the United States over the last several decades. Chronic conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, fatigue
syndromes, poor sleep and many more are dealt with by prescribing medications. Our country is the greatest consumer of prescription medications compared to all other countries combined. Now there is a holistic, effective way to assist many of these conditions. Pulsed Electro Magnetic Field (PEMF) Therapy is a ground- breaking and powerful technology that works on concentration, mental acuity, stress reduction, enhanced blood fl ow, enhanced sleep and more. Vascular sessions have helped with arthritis, neuropathy, digestive issues, sleep issues, pain, blood pressure, skin problems, eye conditions and more. Through increasing circulation of blood through capillaries, nutrients can be delivered to the cells more effi ciently. If you have never tried this amazing technology, now is the
time. Jennifer Alvarado, LMT is offering two free treatments at her massage offi ce. Each treatment only takes 8 minutes. Contact Jennifer at 407-928-9379 to schedule your session today.

Prenatal Sun Exposure Lowers Asthma Risk
R
esearch has shown that
children with mothers that live in sunnier locations during their second trimester are signifi cantly less likely to have asthma than other children.
A consortium
of researchers from the University
of Kansas, Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology analyzed data from both hospitals and national surveys to determine sunlight exposure for the mothers. Increased exposure to sunlight increases levels of natural vitamin D. “We’re not looking at sunny places versus
non-sunny places,” clarifi es David Slusky, a University of Kansas assistant professor of economics. “We looked at the relative differences of the level of sunlight at a particular place at a particular time of year.”
