Local Non Profi t Organization Helps Empower Our Youth
Abused Children is a 501c3 that was organized in 1990 for the sole purpose of providing for the needs of abused and neglected children in Seminole County. This organization helps with such items as food, clothing, tutoring, educational programs, summer camp and any enrichment programs. The mission here is to empower youth that are in need of such items and services. Many of the children that are assisted by FRIENDS are those that are in the foster care system and have been removed from their homes. Just sit back for a moment and think what it might have been like to be removed from your home as a child. This is, for many, a time of great turmoil and emotional disruption as one could well imagine.

Event “An Evening Through Their Eyes” which will feature an art display of works by the children they have assisted. The event will be hosted by Mercedes-Benz of Sanford on September 29 from 6:00-9:00 pm. Real Truth About Health Conference from Sept 9 to 18 at the Caribe Royale All-Suite Hotel and Conference Center in Orlando.
