Indeed in some ways the Party is now more united than it ever has been. I mean, you only have to consider the fact that Tony Blair and Gordon Brown have both intervened strongly against Corbyn as a sure sign that the Parliamentary Labour Party will continue to be united in fighting tooth and nail to maintain the neo-liberal orthodoxy, stamp out socialism and pursue its principled policy of abstaining on anything that might make them look bad to Daily Mail readers.

I have been following with interest the atempts over the years to bring Labour Lord Greville Janner to account for his alleged crimes, or at the very least for him to atend court in person. Do you think that Janner will ever face trial and be sentenced and if so, who else will be affected by this? Place_de_Dauphin

It is my sincere view that if Lord Janner lives long enough to face trail at Southward Crown Court and it goes all the way through to presentation of evidence, verdict and sentencing then clearly the British Establishment will have lost its touch. I think it far more likely that Janner will be found dead of natural causes before anything embarrassing or inconvenient to powerful persons still living has to be revealed under oath by anyone.
In fact I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Janner suddenly dies of a heart atack on Hampstead Heath whilst shooting himself twice and then throwing the gun as far away as possible. The fact that Jeremy Corbyn MP’s body will be found face down 100 metres away having been hit on the back of the head by the same gun will no doubt be considered, by the Parliamentary Labour Party and/ or the British Establishment, as a coincidental bonus.
