Pricing ‘bounce’ Throughout the industry, the challenge of balancing fee structures against service- delivery expectations still exists. There can be tension between delivering
the service that everyone wants to see and the remuneration for that, but Niall feels that progress is being made. He says: “The market has definitely
progressed away from the race to the bottom on price where we were a few years ago, but there is still some way to go and balancing those two aspects of service and price and maintaining a healthy tension remains on most, if not all, managing directors’ and chief executives’ minds. “More outsourcing and fixed-price models
will continue over contingent pricing: this is a continuing and developing trend to allow some certainty.” CCR
