Ulf Eggefors – Head of CEO Office and acting Regional Director West Ulf joined Hoist Finance in 2017 as Head of CEO Office and acting Regional Director West. Formerly the Global Head of Trade Finance Services at Swedbank, Ulf has held a number of senior positions in a 30-year career in business and finance, including a period as CFO at CellMark, the global trade resource business.

Julian Winfield – UK Country Manager Julian, the UK Country Manager, has worked in the Financial Services sector for more than 15 years and joined Hoist Finance in 2014 having been Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Paymentshield, part of Towergate Insurance. Julian has held a number of senior appointments throughout his career, including a successful spell as Financial Director at Shop Direct Financial Services.
Louise Schofield – Head of Operations As Head of Operations, Louise heads up all of the operational areas of the business including collections, litigation, field services and strategy. She joined the company in 2005, having worked in a number of senior operations and project- management roles at Vertex and Caudwell Communications. Louise has over 17 years’ experience in senior Operational roles and over 12 years within debt purchase and debt collection.

Peter Mounsey – Head of Information Systems Peter Mounsey joined Hoist Finance UK as Chief Information Officer (CIO) in 2015 and has direct responsibility for Information Systems, Business Transformation Team and the HFUK Software Development team. Peter joined from Grant Thornton, Corporate Finance, where he was Head of Operations Advisory.
Ian McConnell – UK Business & Financial Controller Ian joined Hoist in 2014 with a strong background in Financial Services. His current role is the UK Finance lead covering all aspects of statutory and group reporting, budgeting, forecasting, procurement, decision management and commercial activity. Previous experience includes nine years with CitiBank UK as Business Controller with specific responsibility for the credit-card portfolio, during which time he was involved with the acquisitions of Peoples Bank and Egg. He also spent four years with Centrica as Head of Finance within its debt operations.

Andy Simmons – Head of Sales & Investments UK Andy has over 14 years of sales, investment and relationship-management experience within the Financial Services sector. As Head of Sales & Investments, Andy is responsible for the leadership of the Debt Purchase and Servicing divisions of Hoist Finance, portfolio onboarding and overall client engagement. Andy joined Hoist Finance through the acquisition of Compello Group in 2015, where he was Executive Director and responsible for Business Development.

John Thompson – Head of Compliance and Risk As Head of Compliance and Risk, John is responsible for the leadership of the operational risk, compliance, conduct and assurance teams and management of regulatory affairs. Before joining the business, John held roles with PwC and KPMG as a risk and compliance consultant where he advised a number of major financial services and credit firms. Prior to that, John held a number of compliance-management roles within credit and insurances businesses.
