Skechers draw inspiration from previous model
S
kechers Performance has launched GO GOLF
Drive II, its latest men’s golf shoe category. Building on the success
of the GO GOLF Drive, this model features an abundance of Skechers’ technology, including the Goga Mat comfort insole. The GO GOLF Drive II is available in three colour schemes:

Mizuno deal for Gleneagles customers
T
he PGA National Golf Academy at Gleneagles has partnered with Mizuno to introduce a custom- fitting facility that provides a free overnight
turnaround service on a bespoke set of clubs. With clubs being custom-built and assembled just 30
miles away at Mizuno’s Cumbernauld facility, Gleneagles guests are being offered a 24- hour turnaround on new sets from Monday to Thursday, taking delivery at the hotel the following day. Gary Silcock, Gleneagles’ director of golf, said: “It’s a great service for time-poor
golfers. When you order clubs, you want to get out and use them as soon as possible, not hang around for ages waiting for them to arrive. “At our Mizuno Performance Centre, you get fitted on the morning of your arrival at
the hotel and then spend the day honing your game across Gleneagles’ three championship courses and enjoying the hotel’s luxury facilities. “Meanwhile, we’ll arrange for your clubs to be made and delivered straight to your
hotel room – ready for you to play with the very next day.” Tony Scott, Mizuno Golf EMEA marketing operations manager, said: “We typically
quote five-seven days turnaround for custom-built clubs, so this is a truly unique and premium service.” Custom fitting at the Gleneagles Hotel starts from £60. The service is open to
everyone; an overnight stay in the hotel is not required.
