NEW LSTs SUIT INSTALLER AND END USER A
comprehensive re-evaluation of the needs of both the end user and the installer were the key criteria behind the development of Dunham-Bush’s new generation of
LST (System Low Surface Temperature) radiators. The enhanced LST range offers seven styles, each available with standard panel radiators or low water content, high efficiency fin-pipe elements. Latest design techniques have made it possible to improve outputs by up to 15 per cent, while retaining the same casing dimensions on some previous models. Outputs range from 130 to 3800W @50°C ∆T. Access to the heating element is gained via a removable and lockable access panel, making routine cleaning and venting a simple process. New to the range is a front facing outlet grille option, enabling installation under a shelf or a windowsill. Innovative design techniques have simplified the installation process and reduced fixing times significantly. For example the back plate also acts as a fixing template and includes hanging brackets for the heat emitter, simplifying the installation process and substantially reducing the fitting time. Two stage installations are easily carried out through 1st and 2nd fix stages, reducing the risk of on-site damage to the outer casings. On larger projects supplies can also be phased into 1st and 2nd fix deliveries, reducing the need for secure storage of aesthetically sensitive components, such as outer casings and grille, whilst easing cash flow. A variety of thermostatic and lock-shield valves from leading manufacturers, including Danfoss, Herz and Honeywell, can be fitted to the radiators. These can be fitted either with externally mounted heads for user adjustment or with remote sensors for a tamper-proof solution. With Dunham-Bush products, customers have the security of knowing that the published outputs and ‘touch’ temperatures of the radiators have been tested at BSRIA to EN442 and a (DoP) Declaration of Performance has been created guaranteeing performance and enable full compliance with NHS and HSE guidance.
