COOLERS Cellar coolers off er more

J&E Hall product sales senior manager Tony Twine explains how the company’s extended cellar cooling range has a wide variety of uses beyond the hospitality industry.

T

he extended J&E Hall Cellar Plus Cooling System range now includes nine models. The new 7kW and 8kW cellar coolers with

their increased capacity and longer pipe runs are suitable for multiple cooling uses reaching industries beyond pubs, bars and restaurants. With a temperature range of 4°C to 15°C they have the versatility to off er product cooling in diff erent industries. They are ideal for cold storage and have made their mark in the food processing industry which has played a key role in keeping us all fed during the Coronavirus pandemic.

The J&E Hall Cellar Plus Cooling System can prolong the life of fresh fruit and vegetables, fl owers, dairy products and other items requiring a temperature-controlled environment.

These compact cooling systems are employed

in the pharmaceutical and medical sectors and during the pandemic this has been expanded to blood storage and vaccine storage. With the medical and pharmaceutical sectors

requiring a varied temperature range you know that these systems can be called upon

to make a diff erence when it matters. J&E Hall Cellar Plus Cooling Systems are also installed extensively in mortuaries. The nine models in the range operate at capacities from 2.87kW to 8kW. The indoor unit was developed specifi cally for cellar cooling and has six fi ns per inch brewery specifi cation evaporator coils which makes them easy to clean and maintain.

They are sold as a system with the

condensing unit, controller and evaporator from the same manufacturer all included, often not the case with a typical cooling system, and this helps with the installation. J&E Hall Cellar Plus Cooling Systems are tried and tested, reliable and cost eff ective. Add the pipework, charge the system with refrigerant and switch the electricity on. It really is not much more complicated than that for the competent installer. On the larger capacity systems air straighteners are fi tted as standard for increased air fl ow. Features also include pipe run capability up to 50m for total fl exibility. Ease of installation keeps costs and time to

a minimum for the contractor and low noise means that the condensing units are suitable for residential areas. There are single phase and three phase condensing unit options. The in-built electronic controller fi tted as

standard makes it easier for the engineer in set-up and provides the customer with the accurate temperature control needed when cooling sensitive products. Depending on capacity, the systems are able to use R410A, R448A or R449. A three-year manufacturer’s warranty gives the installer and the end user total peace of mind. Our customers tell us that the versatility of a J&E Hall Cellar Plus Cooling System makes it impressive. The cooling system’s track record in the hospitality industry is well known but it’s the ability to reach beyond pubs, bars and restaurants that is making it a fi rst choice for customers in a range of industries. At a time when many of us are having to change the way we work it is reassuring to know that like the refrigeration industry there’s a lot more to the J&E Hall Cellar Plus Cooling System than meets the eye at fi rst glance.
