Samsung brings heating and cooling solution to barbers

odern and traditional barbers shop, Chichester Barbers, has been refurbished with a brand new heating
and cooling system from Samsung. Southdowns AC, an air conditioning supplier, designed and installed the cooling solution within the barbers.
The brief received for the project outlined that the user required a system that would cause the least amount of disruption in the short window before the reopening of the shop post Covid-19. The WindFree cassette was chosen by the installer as it provided a multitude of benefits, including control of the temperature and fan speed to keep the room mild and comfortable. indoor comfort by using thousands of micro-holes to disperse fresh air uniformly without any unpleasant blasts of cold wind. Following the official introduction of the
new WindFree wall-mounted air conditioner platform in January this year, Samsung has extended the range to welcome the WindFree Deluxe, a wall-mounted air conditioner for its VRF (DVM) and Eco Heating System (EHS) heat pumps. Julian Edwards, director at Southdowns AC said: “I have used Samsung products in
quite a few projects for the past 12 years. The WindFree wall mounted unit was an obvious choice for this project as the spec met the brief and for me, it’s been a real winner this year, particularly with bedrooms. There were no issues at all whilst installing this product and the unit was installed within a day.
