Taylor UK is now supplying the new Twist range of batch freezers from Frigomat. Designed to make ice cream or gelato, the Twist includes an innovative automatic cleaning system that makes manual cleaning unnecessary, helping to increase productivity and reduce downtime. The Twist comes in a number of models with diff erent production capacities, from the Twist 35, which makes up to 35kg per day, up to 100kg a day for the Twist 100. The exact output depends on the product being made and the consistency of the mix. The range of models makes the Twist a great choice for dedicated ice cream or gelato parlours or businesses looking to add frozen treats to their existing off ering. It uses Frigomat’s specialist technology, which can freeze a variety of products to the desired consistency, time after time. The process is controlled via a touch screen interface, which contains a number of preset recipes that can be fully customised according to requirements. Conventional batch freezers require the internal system to be manually cleaned between batches, which is time consuming and requires trained staff to ensure correct sanitisation. What sets the Twist apart is its washing system. Using the touch screen, the operator can choose from a selection of cleaning cycles, each of which has been optimised for a specifi c purpose.

Carrier
Carrier is one of the fi rst manufacturers to off er water-cooled chillers and heat pumps operating on the new low Global Warming Potential (GWP) refrigerant R-515B, which provides a number of important benefi ts for end users. With an A1 safety classifi cation, R-515B is both non-fl ammable and non-toxic and has a GWP of less than 300, almost half the global warming impact of R-513A, which has a GWP of 573.
Equipment operating on R-515B has also been shown to be more
energy effi cient, with an improvement of up to 5% compared with R-513A. This reduces operating expenses for end users over the lifetime of the equipment. In addition, the requirement for periodic leak testing of equipment under F-Gas Regulations is signifi cantly reduced for plant running on R-515B due to its low GWP, cutting end users’ servicing costs. Chillers and heat pumps operating on R-515B can be retrofi tted in the future to operate on the ultra-low GWP refrigerant R-1234ze, which is not possible with equipment running on R-513A, therefore making it eff ectively future-proof from changes in F-Gas Regulations.
Mitsubishi Electric
Mitsubishi Electric has launched a new range of close coupled precision air conditioning models, designed specifi cally for business-critical IT environments. The new Multi Density system comes complete with a three-year warranty and is ideal for situations where high sensible cooling and close control of temperature in high-density applications, such as data centres, is essential.
Unique to the IT cooling sector, the Multi Density system connects Close Coupled indoor units directly to an advanced VRF outdoor unit. Up to eight indoor units can be connected on a single system, off ering an operating range of 12.5kW to 50kW per solution. This solution combines the effi ciency, quality, and simplicity of the renowned City Multi VRF system, with high performance close coupled air conditioning units. The result is a full inverter-driven, multi-split system, designed according to the best quality standards and dedicated to the most reliable IT environments.
The R410A system is ideal for high density racks and blade server cooling in data centres. It is able to cope with the increased thermal load of high density racks, and thanks to the small footprint, the in- row and in-rack CRAC units can be placed directly within the racks to cool the localised hot spots.

AquaForce 30XW(H)PZE and 30XW(H)VZE premium water-cooled liquid screw chillers operating on R-515B are compliant with Eco- design Minimum Effi ciency Performance Standards (MEPS), and conform with current F-Gas legislation up to 2030. AquaForce 30XW(H)PZE fi xed speed chillers are available in nominal cooling capacities from 275 to 1,100 kW and use a variable capacity valve to match cooling capacity to load.

The J&E Hall Commercial Refrigeration Hub will include Labour Assist. This new feature gives installers peace of mind in the unlikely event of a parts failure under warranty by providing them with a contribution towards labour costs incurred in replacing the part.
