Clivet

Clivet has expanded its range of heat pumps by introducing split hydronic solutions with the new hydronic modules Easytank, Easybox, Easyin and the super-compact Easymini. Clivet off ers a wide and articulated range of heat pumps for heating, cooling and domestic hot water production that meets the multiple needs of diff erent types of dwellings (newbuild or older buildings, where it is not possible to intervene on the envelope), including: ■ refrigerant-split heat pumps using R32 and available in cased, box, and uncased versions.

Humidity control specialist Condair has released a new podcast on controlling humidity in cleanrooms. In this 10-minute interview, Dave Marshall-George, Sales Director at Condair, explains how to manage air humidity in tightly controlled manufacturing or research environments. Dave comments, “Cleanrooms are used in a huge variety of industries and are classifi ed by the level of particulate matter that is permissible in the air. Alongside air purity, humidity can often have a dramatic impact on the success of any cleanroom operation. Humidity may be controlled to combat static, eliminate moisture losses from sensitive materials, and prevent or encourage a reaction in a specifi c substance. “However, providing the accurate humidity control needed for these sensitive environments can be a challenge. This short podcast gives a comprehensive overview, is ideal for anyone who is managing or designing cleanrooms and covers both humidifi cation and dehumidifi cation.” Dave concludes. Podcasts are an excellent way to understand a topic in their car or on their way to work. Condair now off ers many bite-sized learning sessions across various humidity-related topics on the link below. The Condair Group is the world’s leading specialist in humidity control and evaporative cooling, with energy-effi cient, hygienic and innovative technologies for commercial, industrial and heritage applications. Condair is represented in the UK by Condair Ltd, which off ers system design, manufacture, supply, installation, commissioning, maintenance and spares.

■packaged heat pumps with refrigerant R32, Edge EVO 2.0. ■ new packaged heat pumps with the natural refrigerant R290 (propane), Edge F and Edge Pro, which combine excellent thermo- dynamic properties with a very low environmental impact index (GWP = 3). This off ering is now enriched with hydro-split heat pumps, thanks to the introduction of the new hydronic modules Easytank, Easybox, Easyin and the super-compact Easymini. The combination with the monobloc heat pumps of the Edge family, both in the R32 and R290 versions, allows the hydro-split heat pumps to create water split systems (hydro-split) that make their application in the residential sector even simpler, more fl exible, safer and more ecological.

Easytank is a hydronic module for basement installation, complete with a 190 or 250-litre DHW storage tank. It includes a 12- litre system expansion tank, 15-litre inertial storage tank, magnetic defl ector fi lter and safety valves, anti-burn mixer and electronic anode.

Easybox is a compact hydronic unit for wall installation consisting of consisting of a 12-litre system expansion tank, 15-litre inertial storage tank, magnetic defl ector fi lter and safety valves and 3-way valve for DHW production. Easymini is a wall-mounted hydronic module complete with a 50-

litre DHW storage tank as well as an 8-litre system expansion tank, 15-litre inertial storage tank, magnetic defl ector fi lter and safety valves, 3-litre DHW expansion tank, anti-burn mixer and hydraulic separator with booster pump.
