Series 21 D RFID can be used to measure pressure indefinitely without external power supply or maintenance. Series 21 DC RFID pressure data logger, which runs on a special long-life battery. The energy required to transmit measurements is provided wirelessly via the RFID interface. Potential applications for these hermetically sealed pressure transponders include mobile systems, large-scale facilities and as replacements for conventional pressure gauges with dials.

The switches are supplied in enclosures sealed to IP69K, allowing them to be pressure washed at high temperatures; they also have a retention force of 10,000N – the highest currently available on the market – so are ideal for ensuring guard doors are held closed until machines and/or processes are in a safe condition. Each module is just 40mm in width, so can easily be fitted to 40mm guarding sections or other areas where space is limited.
