okingham-based Baxi Heating has made a series of


commercial customers. Baxi Heating is a residential and commercial heating and hot water


manufacturer, and consists of Baxi, Potterton, Baxi Potterton Myson, Heatrae Sadia, Megaflo Andrews


Water Heaters, Potterton Commercial and Remeha. Neville Small, former Sales Director for Potterton Commercial, becomes Business Development Director across all of Baxi Heating’s commercial brands while Steven Evans has joined as National Sales Manager for Potterton Commercial.

qualified for Full


Membership of the IEMA (Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment) and, as such, is now a Chartered Environmentalist. IEMA is the worldwide alliance of environment and sustainability professionals, transforming the world to sustainability. Full


membership of IEMA is the “gold standard” for environment and


sustainability professionals who are setting agendas and leading initiatives within the organisations for which they work.


Ceeney said: “I am delighted to have qualified for my Full Membership of IEMA and to have been successful in my application for acceptance onto the Register of Chartered Environmentalists (SocEnv).


“Membership enables me to network among some of the leading sustainability professionals in the world who work across industry, government, education and the public sector. It also allows me to keep abreast of the wider sustainability agenda and the issues which are coming to the fore, which is particularly useful for informing my strategic and operational input into BSRIA for the benefit of our Members and the wider construction sector.


“There is strong


representation from the built environment sector, and membership of IEMA is one way in which we collaborate to inform and shape public debate and government policy, and to improve industry practice.”

The appointment has been made as Spelsberg continues to grow its business in the UK. Smith joins the team with a decade of experience in business development and technical product support in the electrical industry. He previously worked for a large manufacturer and supplier of electrical accessories, lighting and audio controls, where he gained a high level of technical knowledge and


insight into the electrical industry.


Smith said: "Spelsberg UK is an extremely well respected brand; one with a massive range and a wealth of value added services which offer the kind of flexibility I believe the industry demands. I'm looking forward to joining the team and helping to develop our partnerships with existing customers as well as reaching out to new contacts, particularly in the wholesale market." Business Development Manager joins ductwork specialist


VAC and containment ductwork specialist, Hargreaves Ductwork Ltd, has appointed George Latimer as Business Development Manager for its Trade Counter network. With over 30 years’ experience in both the UK and Europe, the former Managing Director of Lindab and Hotchkiss joins Hargreaves with a successful sales track record, extensive market knowledge and ambitious plans to grow business in Hargreaves’ Trade Counter branches. His previous sales experience provides him with a great understanding of the HVAC

sector and contacts to build on Hargreaves’ successful Trade Counter network. Hargreaves’ Trade Division Director, Dave Archer, commented: “During the past year we have ensured continual growth of the business through a series of strategic changes. George brings valuable sector knowledge to our team and his appointment is instrumental to achieving our expansion plans for the UK.”

Bitzer UK appoints product support engineer A


s part of its ongoing growth and


development strategy, Bitzer UK – the refrigeration and air conditioning


technologies company – has appointed Liam Davies to the position of Product Support Engineer.


Davies began working at Bitzer UK on compressor pack building in 2011, before


moving into Internal and External Sales.


In his new role, he will report to Business Development Director, Marcus Levy, with responsibility for selected key accounts and assisting customers with technical queries and product selections.


Outside work, hobbies include fitness training and Counter Strike competitive video gaming.

Specification Managers to its team to provide support for large-scale projects. Viega’s dedicated International Specification Manager will help ensure smooth delivery on projects
