licat Scientific¹s mass flow controllers ensure the optimal coating environment in vacuum

chambers, maintaining product integrity in coating and sputtering processes. The MCE-Series and MCV- Series may be used to replace legacy and discontinued MKS instruments. Made to fit the same space as common industry mass flow controllers, both series are easy to integrate into existing systems. In use, they offer fast, accurate flow control for process uniformity and quality. The Alicat MCE and MCV accurately control gas flow rates as low as 0-0.5 sccm full scale or as high as 0-20 slpm full scale with control response times of 50 to 100 milliseconds.

BB’s FPD350 Torbar self-averaging pitot tube offers a low cost, easy to install solution for measurement of gases, liquids and steam. With no moving parts and featuring an innovative sensor design that helps minimise pressure loss,

the Torbar provides an economical, low

maintenance solution for a wide variety of applications including flue gases, compressed air, water, sea water and liquids. The Torbar can be installed in circular, square or rectangular section ducts from 15 to 8,000mm (0.5 to 315in) in diameter. All Torbar meters feature a four piece design, comprising an outer impact tube, internal averaging tube, low pressure chamber and head unit with high pressure and low pressure impulse connections. A key feature of the Torbar is its dual averaging design, which enables it to offer improved accuracy, especially in non-ideal conditions. A pitot tube measures flow by sensing the difference between the impact pressure of the flow and the static pressure. The Torbar is part of ABB’s comprehensive range of DP Flowmeters which includes a wide choice of primary elements, secondary transmitters and recording/control/indication devices.

portable, benchtop and space restrictive applications. The chassis is designed for desk or rack mounting and features remote control via USB or LXI Ethernet. Remote control over a network enables the switching function of a test system to be located as close as possible to the target equipment. The chassis supports one or two Pickering 3U PXI modules. Possible system configurations include switching matrices up to 1104 cross-points, 396 channel multiplexer or up to 36 channels of programmable resistor/sensor emulation. “For quite some time, we have had requests from our customer base for small form factor switching system to address portable applications as well as the need for
