diaphragm actuators are available in three sizes having a maximum actuating force 55,000 Newton. The valves can be dismantled without any special tools, enabling the user to replace the entire trim. With equal-percentage and linear characteristic valve plugs available. The valve seat is designed to be used on both sides. Should the seat become
damaged, it is simply turned over instead of being replaced. The valves feature parabolic plugs, perforated plugs and multi-hole cages to tackle cavitation and noise. KSB offers a soft- seated valve plug variant for stringent tightness requirements.
