TECHNOLOGY IN ACTION ADVERTORIAL SEPURA – Leading the World in Condensate Filtration
Managing Director Richard Potts believes the new site will be an important resource for distributors and end-users; “The translated site will provide a greater understanding to our Chinese partners and customers - from initial enquiry through to installation and use”, says Richard. “We have also included a translation of our SEPURA™ separator sizing calculator to ensure end-user installations are fitted with the appropriate capacity unit”.
New branding The brand-building campaign includes the development of new packaging on all SEPURA service kits. This ensures that customers can be confident they have genuine SEPURA products containing Bowman’s patented SILEXA™ filtration media. It is important that buyers can distinguish SEPURA products from imitations says Richard Potts; “Only Bowman’s revolutionary SILEXA™ patented oil selective, hydrophobic, oleophilic media, offers this level of performance combined with excellent environmental benefits”.
Quality
Bowman has developed rigorous procedures to ensure that all SEPURA products meet the demands of its global customers and it has now gained ISO9001 - 2015 certification for the design, manufacture and supply of filters & filtration equipment.
“It’s another step in the right direction for the business as we continually look to improve our processes and integrate new ideas,” says Richard. "Charlotte Brown, our Quality/H&S Auditor has risen to the challenge and has been key in implementing the new standard”.
Bowman’s next goal is ISO14001 and, with the management team currently putting the foundations in place, the company is on-track to add the stamp of effective environmental management to a business that is already delivering a growing range of sustainable solutions to filtration systems around the world.

pioneering
SEPURA™ filtration technology is now reaching further across the globe with its range of oil-water separators covering compressed air systems from 60-7000cfm.
The SEPURA separator concept is already well established as a leading cost-effective solution for the treatment of air compressor condensate - the product revolutionized the filtration market back in 2004 when it was first introduced as an easy-to-use separator with no moving parts and a 100% performance guarantee.
Since then, Bowman’s research and development team has continued to
make major advances in separation technology, in particular the creation of the SILEXA™ filtration media which established new standards in condensate treatment. Made from recycled glass bottles this fully sustainable and renewable patented media provides a multitude of benefits compared to traditional medias, 20% more adsorbent, cleaner, lighter and requiring no pre- soaking - SILEXA™ has made installation even easier and has enabled rapid servicing, with outlet quality discharge down to 5ppm.
The SILEXA™ media enabled Bowman to develop the world’s first fully disposable separator - the SEP60 – a compact, single use, quick-fit design with the capacity to out-perform separators twice its size. The SEP60 forms part of SEPURA’s comprehensive range of low, mid and high range separators.
International growth As the SEPURA brand continues to grow, Bowman is working hard to develop new partnerships and ensure that their groundbreaking technology is available to markets around the world. The company has established a growing network of international agents with contacts across Europe, the United States, the Middle East, South Africa, South America and Oceania (Australia, New Zealand, Fiji & Papa New Guinea).
Bowman is also working to develop links in China, having translated the full SEPURA website into Mandarin and providing access to downloads, brochures and instruction manuals.
