Dexter Watson Ltd delivers new innovations to the wet waste industry
York based Dexter Watson Limited have developed new equipment to serve the wet waste industry; in particular the low level Sealed Waste Container and the Drainage Container.
The Low Level Sealed Waste Container (SWC) has been designed to allow an operator access to the units loading hatch from ground level eliminating the need to climb on top of the unit. The generous fully sealed loading hatch has a 1.3m x 1.3m clear opening and is unlocked, opened and closed using a
sequential hydraulically operated system. The unit also has a full width sealed rear door again locked and unlocked hydraulically and is fitted with a 4” MZ valve draw point. A heavy duty durable epoxy coating is applied to the interior preventing corrosion and aids tipping.
The Drainage Container (DC-20) is designed to accept waste containing high water content and was originally developed to compliment the Moos Hi-Tip system which makes up part of the Sweeper Waste Reception Facility. The
DC-20 is also being utilised on many other applications where excess liquid poses a problem. The unit is fitted with grated drainage channels and decants through two outlets to the front. The full width rear door is opened using a hydraulic operated locking mechanism; the internal surface is also coated with a heavy duty durable epoxy coating preventing corrosion also aiding in the tipping process. The unit is fitted with a bi-directional roll over tarpaulin to prevent ingress of rain water and provides safe transportation.
