With only fifteen stands left available, the inaugural National Drainage Show (NDS), which is on at Excel, London, between 9th & 10th November, will be sold out by August, say organizers.
Jon Irwin said, “It’s been a fantastic response, especially when you think what has been going on this last year” He went on to say, “We already have enough interested companies in the pipeline to finish the job, but with Boris getting ready to lift all restrictions, we expect an influx of enquiries from companies who have been adopting the ‘wait and see’ approach.”
The National Drainage Show is run in partnership with Drain Trader, NADC and a host of other organizations, such as: LoDEG, British Water, Environment Agency, National Sewerage Assoc, Pipeline Industries Guild, UK Rainwater Management Assoc, UKSTT and Sensors for Water Interest Group (SWIG).
The NADC will have a dedicated seminar theatre on site, with a programme of CPD accredited presentations and will be showcasing the new DrainSafe and the NADC Hydrant App, which looks like it is going to prove invaluable to many.
The NADC Hydrant App has been designed to provide a long-term solution to the need for multiple standpipes, and the burden of additional costs incurred, when working across water company regions. In the short term it provides immediate benefits, including robust management controls, protection from illegal use of hydrants and possible £1000+ fines as well as savings in travel time by identifying the nearest authorised hydrant to the operator.

Services, VIP Polymers and Saint Gobain PAM UK, Lanes Group, McAllister, Mastenbroek, gives the National Drainage Show a real breadth of offers, products and services that you'd be hard pushed to see together in any other way.
SuDS continues to rise up the agenda, and we'll see GreenBlue Urban, Innovyze, KBI and SDS amongst others with solutions as part of the co-located Floodex event.
NDS has a great opportunity to mix with peers, talk to experts and see what products and services are new in your industry, or coming to market in the near future. We are currently looking for an asset finance company to be at the show, ready to offer financing advice and offer ‘in principle’ loans for people looking to buy vehicles, plant and equipment.
The colocated Floodex show will also deliver a big crossover of interested parties as exhibitors and visiting contractors, construction professionals, engineers, planners, local authorities and Internal Drainage Board personnel. Coming out of lockdown and the
need for people to generate new business and contacts, face to face, should help drive visitors to the National Drainage Show.
Simon Beverley-Smith, Editor of Drain Trader magazine said, “This is a fantastic opportunity for the UK drainage industry to bounce back after what has been a very challenging 15 months, and what a venue! I’d still love to see more of you, our advertisers, at the show and there is still room for more jetters, liners, cameras and nozzles, as well as specialist service providers. If you are one of the ‘wait and see’ bunch, then I urge you to just go for it and give Jon a ring!””
The exhibitor list, floor plan and speakers schedule will be up on the website in September, in the meantime, if you need further info, visit
