Rioned expands hire fleet range
With a growing number of drainage contractors opting to hire rather than purchase equipment, the RioHire fleet of vehicles and jetting equipment has grown rapidly over the past three years. The company has recently announced the addition of the Urban Combi vehicle and several of its portable machines to the hire range.
Mark Cox, Sales Manager for Rioned UK, says the service has grown faster than originally predicted: “We now have over have over 50 van- pack and combi units on hire throughout the UK and recently added another 7 units to the fleet with 20 more to follow in the New Year. Added to that, occupancy rates are around 93% over the year, which really highlights the fact that many contractors see hiring as viable economic option as well as the demand, reliability and turnaround time of our equipment.”
The popularity of the RioHire service prompted the company to expand the product range, and Mark says the availability of the award-winning
Urban Combi should prove attractive to operators looking for a specific solution: “For many contractors there is a problem with getting larger vehicles into restricted areas. The Urban Combi provides a more manoeuvrable vacuum and jetting solution without compromising on performance. The first of the units will be available in February 2017.”
The petrol motor powered HD30 and electric motor powered MiniJet portable machines have also been added to the hire range. Both units have been designed for residential and light commercial use, as well as areas with hygiene restrictions such as hospitals, and can be hired short-term for a minimum period of two weeks.
Simplifying the hire process and providing a flexible range of hire options is key says Mark Cox: “A simple hire agreement and proof of insurance can have you driving away in less than an hour. And with prices starting from £130 per week, it’s a cost-effective way to benefit from class leading equipment.
“For example, our fully converted, highways compliant Van Packs are supplied fitted with the latest CityJet+ jetter, which comes with a host of features such as 180° pivoting hose reel and radio remote control as standard.
“For long term hire we can also arrange vehicle wraps, vehicle customisation along with fully maintained packages to make the service totally hassle free.”
